Velunessa is an exceptionally plush shaggy rug handcrafted from premium New Zealand wool, defined by its warm ivory tone and deep, flowing texture. Its solid tonal surface allows the long, feathery fibres to create natural visual movement without a formal pattern. The dense, cloud-like pile gives Velunessa a soft and inviting character, making it an ideal choice for contemporary living rooms, bedrooms, lounges, and calm minimalist interiors.

Velunessa Plush Shaggy Rug

The Velunessa Plush Shaggy Rug is defined by its exceptionally soft, flowing texture and warm ivory tone. Rather than relying on a printed or geometric pattern, its character comes from the dense, feathery pile that creates subtle natural variation across the entire surface.

Handcrafted by skilled Indian artisans using premium New Zealand wool, Velunessa features a deep, plush shaggy construction designed to provide a soft and comfortable feel underfoot. Its cloud-like texture adds warmth and depth while maintaining a clean, understated appearance.

Cloud-Like Shaggy Texture

The defining feature of Velunessa is its long, fluffy pile. The dense fibres create a soft, flowing surface with gentle tonal variation, giving the rug a naturally rich appearance without introducing a formal pattern.

The longer fibres also create a relaxed, tactile character that works especially well in interiors where comfort and texture are central to the design.

Warm Ivory Colour

Velunessa uses a warm ivory and soft cream palette that creates a calm and versatile foundation. The subtle variation between individual fibres prevents the surface from appearing completely flat while preserving its neutral character.

The colour works beautifully with white furniture, beige upholstery, natural timber, black accents, soft grey décor, and warm contemporary interiors.

Premium New Zealand Wool

Crafted from premium New Zealand wool, Velunessa combines a naturally soft fibre with a substantial shaggy construction. The wool gives the surface warmth, tactile richness, and a naturally inviting appearance.

Minimalist Textural Character

Velunessa is designed for interiors where texture speaks louder than pattern. Its uninterrupted ivory surface creates a peaceful visual foundation while the deep pile introduces dimension and softness.

It works beautifully in:

Made for Everyday Comfort
