The Red Pink Floral Rug brings an expressive floral composition to the floor through large free-form petals in rich red, blush pink and mustard yellow. An off-white foundation separates the individual forms and gives the colors room to breathe. Instead of following a traditional floral border or detailed botanical drawing, the design uses broad sculptural petals and simple color fields to create a contemporary flower-inspired pattern.

The two mustard-yellow centers provide focal points within the composition, while the red and blush-pink petals spread outward in different shapes and proportions. The irregular outer edge follows the organic movement of the petals, giving the rug a sculptural profile that works particularly well with curved furniture and modern interiors.

Hand tufted craftsmanship

The rug is made using a hand tufting technique, with yarn inserted into a prepared foundation to build each colored section by hand. The large petal forms require careful placement so the red, pink, mustard and off-white areas remain clearly separated. After tufting, the pile is trimmed and finished to create a consistent surface with defined pattern edges.

The outer silhouette is finished according to the floral composition rather than forced into a standard rectangular shape. Rounded projections and inward curves follow the individual petals, giving the finished piece its distinctive irregular character. Small variations in pile direction, yarn placement and surface texture are natural characteristics of handmade production.

Abstract floral design

The artwork takes inspiration from the structure of a flower while using simplified, oversized forms. Two mustard centers sit within the composition, surrounded by broad red and blush-pink petals. The petals vary in length and shape, creating movement across the surface without introducing a dense or overly detailed pattern.

The off-white foundation acts as a visual separator between the colored forms. Rich red provides the strongest contrast, blush pink softens the palette, and mustard yellow adds a warm accent. This combination gives the rug a colorful personality while keeping its overall design clean and contemporary.

Where to style the Red Pink Floral Rug

In a living room, place the rug beneath the main seating arrangement while keeping enough of the irregular perimeter visible. Cream, beige or light neutral sofas allow the red and pink artwork to become the main focal point. A blush or terracotta accent chair can repeat one of the rug's warmer tones.

In a lounge, the sculptural shape works well beneath a coffee table surrounded by curved chairs. Brass and warm wood furniture complement the mustard centers naturally.

For a bedroom, place the rug beneath the lower section of the bed or in a separate seating area. White bedding and natural wood furniture can keep the setting calm while blush cushions or a red accent piece connect with the floral pattern.

The rug can also suit a creative studio or playful interior where its large petal shapes can become part of the room's visual artwork.

Color and styling

The main palette combines off white, rich red, blush pink and mustard yellow. The off-white ground provides a neutral foundation, while red creates depth and pink introduces a softer color note. Mustard works as the warm focal accent within the floral composition.

For a balanced interior, pair the rug with cream, beige, light oak and natural textiles. To create a richer room, introduce burgundy, terracotta or dusty pink furniture and accessories. Avoid using too many competing patterns so the large floral forms remain clear.

Everyday care

Vacuum regularly using a setting appropriate for the rug's pile. Avoid aggressive brushing or pulling at the tufted yarn. For spills, blot the affected area promptly with a clean absorbent cloth rather than rubbing the surface.

Where possible, keep the rug away from prolonged direct sunlight. Rotating it periodically can help distribute normal foot traffic across the surface. For deeper cleaning or larger stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended for handmade construction.

Custom sizing

The Red Pink Floral Rug can be produced in custom dimensions when a particular room requires a different footprint. Standard size options can include 4x6, 5x7, 5x8, 6x8, 6x9, 7x10, 8x10, 8x11, 9x12, 10x13 and 12x15 feet, subject to production requirements.

Custom sizing can be useful for living rooms, bedrooms, lounges and open-plan spaces where the rug needs to work around a specific furniture arrangement. If you require a custom dimension, share your measurements before ordering so the proportions of the floral artwork can be considered during production.
